We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Java Development Team Lead to join our development team in Poland and drive technical excellence in the healthcare space for one of the largest healthcare service companies in the US. This role involves leading a talented full-stack team to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that enhance business performance within the Individual & Family Plan segment of the client''s retail healthcare platform.


Java 11: Collections, Threading, Streams, new language constructs, etc
Oracle, MongoDB
Angular 7 for front-end components
AWS (incremental migration)
Lead a full-stack development team
Manage, motivate, and grow team members
Map user stories to detailed technical specifications
Implement back-, middle- and front-end parts of applications, integrate and test them
Manage the multiple source repository, cherry-pick changes and maintain release repository, maintain release config repo in parallel to current development
University degree in Engineering or Computer Science
~5+ years of experience with IT projects, with at least 3 fully participated and delivered projects
~3+ years of strong hands-on development experience developing enterprise-class applications in the technical stack used in the Clients landscape (Java, Spring, and/or Angular 7, JS/TypeScript)
~ Deep understanding of all things databaseschema design, optimization, scalability, etc
~ Ability to write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions on Oracle DB
~ Ability to articulate clear business objectives aligned with technical specifications and work in an iterative Agile pattern daily
~ English at a B2+ level

Experience with Azure or other cloud services is highly advantageous. Business Driven Development (BDD) / Specification by Example
