Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following, other duties may be assigned as needed:
- Be part of the Crypto Operations team that amongst others manages the assets for VanEcks Crypto ETNs
- Help in automating crypto operational tasks
- Be part of and/or lead a project team that works on different digital asset-related projects (e.g. tokenization)
- Product development
- Ensure familiarity with the organizations existing products and operational capabilities as well as industry and market developments
- Complete other duties or special projects as needed
- Research digital asset industry developments, competitors, regulations, rule changes, policies, and other advances
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Deep knowledge of cryptocurrency, digital asset financial and fintech ecosystem
- Technical knowledge of token design, blockchain design/security is a plus
- Prior knowledge/experience with various public/private investment structures, including but not limited to ETFs, mutual funds, and partnerships is a plus
- Programming skills (e.g. Python) is a plus
- Ability to understand and explain complex investment solutions and/or are enthusiastic to learn
- Ability to effectively present information to internal and external parties
- A multi-tasker with excellent analytical and time management skills
- Team player who can work independently
- Fluency in Dutch and English is required
Education and/or Experience
- Masters Degree in Business/Finance or related field of study preferred
