Job Opportunity: Facilities Engineer (Gas Storage and Distribution Systems)MEMC Electronic Materials Spa A GlobalWafers Company, a leading manufacturer of silicon wafers for the electronics industry, is seeking a Facilities Engineer to join our team.The successful candidate will be part of the Facilities Maintenance & Operation department, responsible for managing maintenance and improvements of gas storage and distribution systems used in our production processes.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate gas systems efficiently and safely.Manage preventive and reactive maintenance, including coordinating with specialized contractors; conduct investigations to identify root causes of failures, define containment and recovery actions, and develop preventive plans to avoid recurrence.Support plant operations: scheduling deliveries, replacing tanks/drums/cylinders, and maintaining systems in optimal condition.Manage modifications and improvements using tools like FMEA, HAZOP, and coordinate work, qualification, and testing of system/process changes.Participate in planning meetings for facilities activities.Assist Purchasing and Process Engineering teams in evaluating and qualifying alternative supplies and system modifications.Collaborate with the Facilities Improvement and Technical Office teams on projects involving gas storage and distribution systems.QualificationsMaster''s Degree in Chemical Engineering.Excellent ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams.Problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.Good command of English, both spoken and written.Experience in technical documentation and reporting.Strong communication skills for presenting analysis results.Preferred Skills and Experience1-2 years of relevant experience.Knowledge of AutoCAD and SAP.Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.Autonomy, proactivity, strong interpersonal skills, and flexibility.Additional InformationThis is a permanent position within an international company offering growth and development opportunities.LocationLocation details to be specified.Application InstructionsPlease include in your CV details about your activities/products, your current or most recent position''s level and salary, and authorize data processing as per GDPR regulations.
