Innovation, continuous research, digitalisation and sustainability are the pillars of its business worldwide.We are looking for a: Stress AnalystResponsabilities:The purpose of work is to conduct structural end fatigue analyses of composite and metal parts through hand calculations (i.e Excel spreadsheets) and FEM specialistic activities.FE Analysis:Perform Linear and Non-linear FE Analysis using commercial Pre and Post software (e.g., Apex, Patran, Hypermesh) and common solvers (e.g., MSC.Nastran).Conduct Explicit FE Analysis (Bird Strike, Crash, Impact) using LS-Dyna, MSC.Nastran SOL 700 (Dytran), or Radioss.Support and Testing:Provide support for manufacturing and in-service structural parts throughout their lifecycle.Contribute to structural test requirements and compare analytical vs. experimental results.Prepare stress analysis reports and test assessment reports.Collaborate with the Airvehicle department for loads.Work with the Design department for CAD surfaces.Coordinate with Large Structural Laboratories for detailed tests, sub-components tests, and full-scale tests.Engage with the Material & Processes team for materials allowable.Education: Masters Degree in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering.Seniority: Junior, 0-3 years of experienceRequirements:Proficiency in FEM software and solvers.Experience with explicit FE Analysis.Good programming for scripting (i.e. python, VBA) is requiredProblem SolvingCommunication skills and ability to interface with different stakeholdersAttitude for teamworkAbility to work under pressureFlexibility and ability to adaptProactivityGood level of written and spoken English, B2Other:Availability for travelling outside Italy.Working with us you will be able to continuously face new challenges and high technological experiences constantly increasing competencies and knowledge.Seniority:Neo-laureato/aPrimary Location:IT - Torino - C.so FranciaAdditional Locations:IT - Napoli - Pomigliano, IT - Venegono SuperioreContract Type:PermanentJob Description:Leonardo is a global industrial group that realises multi-domain technological capabilities in Aerospace, Defence & Security.
