At Sirius Medical, we improve care for cancer patients through our effective, affordable localization system, enabling the precise and efficient surgical removal of tumors. Founded in 2017, our Sirius Pintuition surgical navigation system received CE mark in 2020 and US FDA clearance in early 2021. We are commercially active in the EU, ANZ, and the US, with new markets on the horizon. In parallel, we continue to expand our innovative product portfolio.
As part of our expanding global presence, Sirius Medical is looking for an Event Manager to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of all corporate, commercial, and clinical events worldwide. You will play a crucial role in shaping how Sirius Medical is promoted at congresses, exhibitions, product launches, educational events, and internal meetings. This position offers the opportunity to create high-impact experiences that resonate with surgeons, hospital teams, and business partners across diverse markets.
Youll be part of the Marketing team a dynamic, collaborative group focused on creativity, excellence, and customer-centricity working closely with Sales, Clinical Affairs, and Product Development to deliver memorable and meaningful brand engagements.
Responsibilities
Global Event Strategy and Execution
Plan, coordinated, and executed a wide range of external events, including industry congresses, symposia, exhibitions, training, and product launches.
Organize internal events, such as sales meetings and training sessions, ensuring consistent quality and logistics across all functions and locations.
Cross-Functional Project Management
Collaborate with Sales, Clinical, and Marketing teams to align messaging, goals, and success metrics for each event.
Coordinate with agencies, vendors, and venues to ensure cost-effective, high-quality delivery.
Develop event playbooks, timelines, and budgets; manage on-site logistics and team briefings.
What is your profile?
A completed HBO degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in managing international events, preferably in the healthcare or MedTech sector.
Some background in B2B or healthcare/MedTech preferred, but not essential
Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, scale-up environment where initiative and adaptability are key.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
Willingness to travel (up to 20-30% of the time) for event execution and coordination.
