Nexeo Belgium is looking for a Credit Officer to join a dynamic and customer-oriented financial institution in Belgium.
As a Credit Officer, you will play a key role in both the onboarding and follow-up phases of consumer credit applications. You will guide clients through the process, provide financial advice, and ensure administrative accuracy to support a seamless and compliant credit experience.
As part of your role, you will:
Phase 1 Credit Request Intake (via phone):
- Conduct credit application intakes with clients by phone and follow up on their requests to ensure quick processing.
- Act as a financial advisor: analyze the clients situation and propose the most suitable credit product.
- Proactively manage commercial opportunities and offer additional financial products when appropriate.
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, answering questions and guiding them through the process.
- Demonstrate strong sales skills and a passion for achieving and exceeding goals.
Phase 2 Credit Request Follow-up:
- Review contracts, legal documents, and client signatures to ensure full compliance.
- Process the disbursement of funds to client accounts once all checks are completed.
- Assist clients in resolving issues in case of non-compliant or missing documentation.
Your profile:
- You are fluent in Dutch and French, with a good working knowledge of English.
- You have strong commercial acumen and enjoy phone-based client interactions.
- You are customer-oriented, stress-resistant, and a team player.
- You are organized, autonomous, and have a rigorous attention to detail.
- You are proficient in MS Office tools.
- Experience in banking, credit, or call centers is considered a plus.
