Thermal management and Drive line control
We are looking for an control engineer in the field of Thermal management and drive line control. The control engineer has knowledge of state-of-art modelling techniques and control theory including test case definitions and robust controls. You are able to transfer this knowledge into appropriate algorithms which integrate and operate a truck and its components in the most optimal way. Having extended knowledge (or willingness to build-up this knowledge) of Zero-Emission technologies and Automotive high voltage systems is mandatory.
You will be developing control functions in a multidisciplinary team and take the lead for specifying, designing and realising control functions in particular for energy management for electric and hybrid vehicles and driveline controls like cruise control, start stop.
Your challenges:
You cooperate closely within a multidisciplinary team with different stakeholders, such as function owners, system owners, architects, test engineers and suppliers. You are the linking pin for translating their input into a feasible control concept design.
The department Vehicle Control within Product Development is responsible for the definition, design and validation of feasible control concepts for vehicle functions, both in advanced technology projects as in product development projects. These control concepts are applied in all Paccar vehicles.
