We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team.

Summary of Position
The Senior Accountant will support the finance department by managing postings, reconciliations, and general accounting for ongoing R&D projects.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of R&D expenses in the company''s general ledger.
- Reconcile and verify R&D accounts for financial accuracy.
- Analyze R&D data to identify trends and discrepancies to improve spending efficiency.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting R&D activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards related to R&D.
- Collaborate with departments for accurate R&D reporting and cost reduction strategies.
- Facilitate invoice approval processes.
- Prepare R&D capitalization journal entries.
- Perform recognition analysis for assets and contingent considerations.
- Revalue contingent considerations periodically.
- Assist in payment processes, including invoice review and processing.
- Track regulatory payments and issue customer recharges timely.
- Maintain an intangible asset register and monthly amortization calculations.
- Reconcile IP schedules for tax purposes monthly.
- Help prepare forecasts and budgets for R&D expenditure.
- Generate monthly management reports with variance analysis.
- Assist with impairment testing for audits.
- Maintain records of service purchase orders and reconcile accounts.
- Ensure accurate processing of service POs and related transactions.
- Develop and implement related accounting policies and procedures.
- Follow GDP & GMP standards for distribution and importation.
- Act as backup for team members, ensuring continuity.
- Participate in cross-training and knowledge sharing.
- Assist in training and mentoring new team members.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Higher education in Accounting.
- At least two years of experience, preferably in auditing.
- Strong IFRS knowledge.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; SAP and BPC experience is a plus.
