Job Summary As Account Technology Specialist inNetApp''s Sales function, you will be responsible for providingpre-sales and sales support for selling NetApp''s Products andProfessional Services to existing and potential customers. You willutilize your excellent technical and relationship building skillsin working with vendors, Alliances, partners and sales to ensurethat optimum systems and solutions are provided to customers. Inthis position your overall focus areas will be in supporting anddeveloping processes and systems for quick and thorough responsesto customer RFP''s, provide systems configuration recommendations,and apply your background and experience to deliver solutions totechnical problems. The essential responsibilities of the AccountTechnology Specialist are to work directly with customers inpre-sales and sales situations, and to work effectively acrossfunctions with other NetApp employees in Sales, Marketing, CustomerService and Development areas. Job Requirements - Identify customerneeds and requirements. - Define all of the elements of acustomer''s technical computing environment - Architecting oroperating infrastructure and data management solutions forenterprise applications. - Building on-premise or hybrid cloudsenvironments. - Storage, Data Protection and Data Managementexperience. - Understand Cloud Service Providers and how toleverage them for business outcomes. - Experience with ArtificialIntelligence, Dev Ops, Virtualization and/or IT environmentorchestration would be a plus. - Fluent in Italian and English.Skill Requirements: - Understand the challenges our customers faceand craft technology solutions to address them. - Use excellentcommunication skills to articulate the benefits of NetApp inpresentations, demonstrations, and dialog with customers and ourpartners. - Create designs/architectures for the solutions thatyour customers need oftentimes combining NetApp products withthose of our technology alliance partners. - Help customers proveor test technology solutions in their environment. - Build andmaintain strong relationships with customers, partners andAlliances at various levels. - Be able to manage a tender, identifythe correct solutions and prepare the technical documentation -Familiarity with on-prem and cloud deployments, including thechallenges and opportunities associated with each. - Be independentand able to move autonomously on customers and prospects - Becurious about new technologies, have the desire to learn and getalways involved At NetApp, we embrace a hybrid working environmentdesigned to strengthen connection, collaboration, and culture forall employees.
