Our services include air and oceanfreight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage,distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and othersupply chain management services, including consulting, thecoordination of purchase orders and customized management services.The Air Export Supervisor is responsible for the timely andaccurate processing of shipments and to provide pro-active customerservice to internal and external customers. All Company policiesand compliance of government regulations is required. ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Accurate and timely processing ofall shipments - Pro-active communication to internal and externalcustomers - Adherence of Company guidelines as related to billing -Effective communication with respective managers and respectivegateway operations to ensure the best possible routing of cargo -Timely communication with customers upon receipt of inquiry -Accurate and timely processing of shipments, AWBs, invoices, andgovernment required documents - Update and maintain TSA regulationsfor Branch - Obtain and maintain customer records including Consentto Screen form, shippers instruction and other forms and documentsto be kept in the file - Ensure screening of cargo as pergovernment and Company policy - Identify and recommend processimprovement opportunities - Maintain Carrier Contract Rates incooperation with Air Product Management team - Accurately maintainCustomer rates SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Conduct performanceevaluation for direct reports - Recommend hiring, firing andpromotion - Identify and resolve personnel issues - Ongoingcoaching and mentoring of staff to develop skills to the highestlevel QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: - Excellent organizational skills -Strong attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal skills -Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite - Detailoriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines - Self-motivated,able to work in a team and independently - Ability to identify andsolve problems - Must be able to complete all assignments in aproficient and effective manner - Customer service oriented andflexible attitude - Team player EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: - 2-5 yearsof progressive experience in Air Export functions - Ability to readand understand carrier tariffs - Knowledge of rating and routing ofcargo - Understanding of applicable IATA Regulations - Strongknowledge of world geography JAS is an equal opportunity employerand all qualified applicants will receive consideration foremployment without regard to race, color, ethnicity, disability,religion, national origin, gender, gender identity, genderexpression, marital status, sexual orientation, age or any othercharacteristic protected by law.
