Join us as a Global Trade Compliance Manager, where you will support the Motion Business Area in enhancing global trade processes and compliance standards. Your main responsibilities include streamlining trade processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, improving operational maturity, and ensuring compliance with customs, export control, and sanctions regulations globally.You will focus on identifying cost-saving opportunities, enhancing efficiency, and maintaining a customer-focused approach that adds business value. The role involves working with global teams to develop best practices, support operational excellence, and ensure regulatory compliance. As a point of contact for global stakeholders, you will work across Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, and Trade communities, reporting to the Motion Business Area Trade Specialist.The ideal candidate is based in Europe, with occasional travel (up to 20%).Operational Support: Act as the primary contact for trade functions, assist with trade execution, provide advisory, and support escalations.Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement, gain support, and empower teams to optimize processes.Change Management and Engagement: Promote continuous improvement, innovation, collaboration, and accountability.Performance and Best Practices: Establish KPIs, track results, implement new technologies, and promote global best practices.Qualifications for the roleMinimum 8 years experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Management with trade compliance expertise.Proven success in process excellence initiatives with measurable results.Degree in International Trade, Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering, or related field.Strong background in global customs, FTAs, and duty optimization.Knowledge of U.S. and EU export controls and sanctions, with compliance experience.Analytical skills with root cause analysis and data-driven decision-making.Experience managing change and cross-functional projects.Excellent English communication and stakeholder engagement skills.More about usThe IEC Low Voltage Division delivers energy-efficient low voltage motors, including IE5 SynRM solutions.
