Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of sales focusing on the expansion of new and existing client base.
- Develop and monitor activity plans for the sales team to achieve agreed targets.
- Overall responsibility for the professional development and performance of each team member, including weekly reviews and performance-based action plans.
- Manage all aspects of expansion sales strategy including modular upsells and cross-sells.
- Assist team members in preparing and delivering sales presentations, proposals, and price lists, as well as participate in sales processes for key clients.
- Ensure CRM data accuracy to provide full visibility of the sales pipeline at every stage.
- Work collaboratively across teams - including Professional Services, Marketing, and CSM team.
- Work closely with Sales Enablement and Product Marketing to contribute to the training and the development of the sales team.
- Achieve maximum profitability and sales growth following the sales plan. This includes ownership of the expense budget.
- Prepare forecasts reporting and assist upper management in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting, and strategic planning.
About YOU
- 5+ years of relevant sales experience, specifically in managing a team responsible for both new business development and existing client expansion.
- Expertise in value-driven sales strategies (e.g., BANT) and a strong ability to coach teams on them.
- You have a sharp instinct for expansion, always identifying untapped potential within existing accounts and turning it into revenue.
- Hands-on and driven, you dont just guide your team, you actively spot opportunities, engage with key clients, and push for growth.
- Proven track record in B2B SaaS sales.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams including Marketing, Professional Services, and CSM team.
- Strength in problem-solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Strong leadership and team building skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
