We are looking for a seasoned professional for the role of Application Integration Architect.As a pivotal member of our central Integration Team, you will plan, coordinate, architect, and supervise all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions to meet the organizations business requirements. You will also develop and maintain an application integration architecture blueprint for the organization.The position is based in Madrid with a scope covering Europe. You will be part of the European Application team and report directly to the Head of Data Analytics & Integration.Occasionally, you may participate in other projects or applications to provide technical assistance, and occasional travel within Europe may be required.What you''ll do :Develop and maintain an integration architecture blueprint aligned with strategic business goals.Ensure integration practices support the companys strategic vision.Understand technical solutions and synthesize insights into actionable recommendations for business users.Plan, execute, and manage integration of new applications into existing systems.Design and implement RESTful APIs within the architecture standards.Work with project teams to define requirements and ensure integration projects meet business needs.Manage internal and external resources, providing guidance to junior team members.Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.Develop standards and processes for integration projects.Collaborate on testing of new software integrations.Build relationships with software vendors to evaluate and improve integration capabilities.Work with Product Owners to shape end-to-end product strategies.Research and recommend integration products and services, analyzing emerging technologies.Establish guidelines, standards, and methodologies for integration.Job requirementsWhat you''ll need to succeed :Bachelors degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.At least 5 years in a similar role, such as Enterprise or Integration Architect; certifications preferred.Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.Experience in enterprise and solution architecture design.Proven ability to link cross-functional applications across business units.Extensive experience with MuleSoft, Microsoft Azure API Management, and related software.Experience with Continuous Integration practices (Azure DevOps).Experience working with APIs from CRM or ERP systems (SAP, JDE, Dynamics).Knowledge of relational databases and SQL (T-SQL preferred).Web development experience with C#/.NET is a plus.Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Waterfall.Excellent communication skills for engaging with business and technical stakeholders.Proactive, problem-solving attitude focused on results.About UsNippon Gases is a leading company in the European industrial and medical gases sector, serving over 150,000 customers across diverse industries such as healthcare, food, manufacturing, and energy.
