Role
As a Senior Functional Specialist for Finance you will lead and secure optimal utilization of the Oracle Cloud Solution (with strong focus on finance and the costing part of Oracle Fusion, FCCS and PBCS).
Responsibilities
- Furnish support to Finance users on system-related issues, including system setup, data migration, report building, and minor enhancement.
- Offer technical assistance during month-end/year-end activities.
- Proactively manage all incidents and problems, prioritizing issues of varying severity
- Ensure solutions align with business needs and requirements
- Utilize your expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP to design and optimize business processes, focus on Finance
- Drive change for Finance, identifying process gaps and new platform offerings
- Lead the realization of system changes, doing minor changes yourself and managing external partners for major changes.
- Strongly collaborate and coordinate with other Functional Specialists (SCM, Sales, CX) and key stakeholders.
- Responsible for ERP compliance with rules and standards and legal/regulatory requirements (e.g. GxP / GAMP5, CSV, ISO 13485)
- Be hands-on in Oracle ERP
Requirements:
- Resides in Eastern Time Zone of United States
- Bachelors Degree (Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or related field) or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience with system administration of a financial application/accounting system (Oracle Fusion, Oracle FCCS, Oracle PBCS)
- Proven experience in supporting testing, defects analysis, and fixing in sync with product development and support
- Proven experience in architecting and designing Oracle systems, specifically in Oracle Cloud ERP / EPM.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle technologies (OTBI, FCCS, PBCS) and tools (ADFDI, SMARTVIEW, FR Studio, BPM Workflow)
- Experience with Oracle Fusion integration with 3rd party applications and using FBDI templates for customers/suppliers/banks/AR invoices/journals
- Good understanding of Oracle Modules related to Financials (General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Financial Accounting Hub)
- In-depth knowledge of business process design within the Oracle Cloud services.
- Understanding of ERP and GL concepts and experience dealing with upstream systems especially during close.
- Excellent organizational skills - ability to prioritize, manage, multi-task and execute projects cross-functionally
- Ability to build strong relationships and trust with business users and stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Self-motivated, highly driven, and self-assured
- Strong problem analysis skills to identify issues impacting customer satisfaction and improvement opportunities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to relate to a diverse group of management and staff
- Excellent verbal and written command in English
- Life Science or MedTech industry experience preferred (CSV / GxP)
- ITIL v3/v4 certification preferred
- Oracle certifications preferred
- Experience in Oracle Integration Cloud
