We are looking for a motivated Front Office ShiftLeader to join our pre-opening team. The role will report to theFront Office Manager. Conveniently located adjacent to Rome TerminiStation and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room HyattRegency Rome Central is a contemporary 5-star hotel offeringpremium business services and one of Italys most dazzling leisurerooftop experiences. The hotel is also featuring a SPA, 5 food& beverages outlets and more than 1000 sqm events venues. Keyresponsibilities: - Actively engage in Front Office operations,representing senior management and identifying potentialopportunities for improvement - Ensure your Front Office Teamdelivers a great service, professional attention and personalrecognition - Maintain effective communication within thedepartment and escalate issues to the Front Office Manager whennecessary - Share daily tasks, communications and proceduresidentified with the Front Office Manager to the Front Office Team.- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless hoteloperations. - Ensure compliance with security, safety and cashhandling procedures. - Respond appropriately to guest complaints,solicit feedback and build relationships to drive continuousimprovement in guest satisfaction - Conduct routine inspections ofthe front office and public areas and take immediate actions tocorrect any deficiencies - Address guest feedback efficiently andprofessionally - Manage VIP guest interactions and support theFront Office Manager during peak occupancy periods - Assign roomsaccording to guest request and preferences whenever possible. -Oversee accounting instructions, credit policies and expenses inalignment with revenue targets - Check billing instructions andguest credit for compliance with hotel credit policy and ensure alltransactions are handled in a secure manner - Perform other dutiesas assigned. May also serve as manager on duty if needed Skills andrequirements: - Preferred working experience with similar roles inlifestyles hotels. - Strong understanding of hotel operations,front desk procedures, and night audit processes. - Bachelorsdegree / higher education qualification/equivalent in HotelManagement/ Business Administration, plus 5 years of FrontOffice/Guest Service experience including supervisory experience -Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-makingskills. - Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are aplus. - Familiarity with Opera Cloud is highly desirable. -Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.What we offer - A stimulating and collaborative work environment ina 5 stars hotel. - Opportunities for professional growth anddevelopment. - Competitive salary package. - Room discountsavailable worldwide within the Hyatt portfolio.
