In this role, you will act as support to the Cluster Human Resources Leader and be in control of the different phases of the employee lifecycle from recruitment to onboarding and offboarding. You are the first point of contact for the colleagues across the two hotels and you will make sure that they will be the best version of themselves. Your day-to-day:
Taking control of the recruitment process together with our departmental leaders to attract the best qualified candidates for open positions at voco The Hague and Holiday Inn The Hague Voorburg.
Working closely with the Cluster Human Resource Leader on the HR strategy by ensuring that all administrative procedures are accurate and executed.
Being knowledgeable of current local and government regulations relating to employee practices.
Taking ownership of the payroll process & ensuring a timely payment every month together with our payroller ADP.
Onboarding new colleagues by setting up all necessary documents and ensuring that new colleagues feel welcomed and prepared to join the team.
Designing and delivering (onboarding) trainings to all new colleagues.
Ensuring that the hotel has appropriate staffing and making recommendations in terms of selection and development activities to achieve set goals and brand standards for both hotels.
Assisting in the preparation of turnover reports, personnel inventories, absenteeism reports, health and safety, accident reports and others.
Maintaining and updating files on employee records, legal documents and other personal matters efficiently and confidentially.
Building and maintaining a strong relationship with all colleagues, acting as the go-to person.
Training & guiding the Human Resources trainee.
Representing voco The Hague and Holiday Inn The Hague-Voorburg as a key employer in the local community.
You facilitate presentations, hotel tours and workshops for hotelschools.

Promoting teamwork and lifestyle service through daily communication.
Ad-hoc duties as required unexpected moments when we have to pull together as a team to get a task done.
Profile
Strong organizational, task-management, creativity, and presentation skills.
Experience in processing the payroll.
Pro-active attitude and eye for detail.
Comprehensive knowledge of all applicable local employment and labor laws.
Excellent communication skills in Dutch and in English.
Minimum two years Human Resources Management experience in a hotel environment.
