As Finance Director, youll be the right hand of the Managing Director and a key sparring partner to the Group CFO. Youll lead the finance function, improve reporting and cost control, and oversee HR and IT. What makes this role exciting is the combination of scale, responsibility, and setting. Womy Equipment Rental B.V. is part of the Dutch-based Peinemann Mobilift Groep and has been active in Cuba since 2016, focusing on equipment rental, transport, projects, and technical services. The company has grown rapidly and is now entering its next phase of international development.
What will you be doing?
- You are part of the local Management Team and act as a sparring partner to the Managing Director in Cuba, and to the Group CFO and Group Controller in the Netherlands;
- You are responsible for the full financial function (45 FTE), led on an operational level by a Finance Manager;
- You lead the monthly closing and annual budgeting process;
- You improve business insights through more data-driven operations and reporting;
- You are responsible for setting up and maintaining cost control and cash flow management;
- You communicate with the external auditors and ensure compliance;
- You also oversee the HR and IT departments and help shape the wider business strategy locally;
- You contribute to organisational development by combining financial expertise with creativity and business sense.

What do we expect from you?
- Strong financial leadership experience, preferably as financial controller, business controller, project controller, or Financial Director;
- A hands-on, pragmatic, and flexible attitude;
- Stress-resilient and capable of performing under pressure;
- Culture-sensitive and able to deal with strong cultural differences;
- Professional working proficiency in Dutch and Spanish;
- Experience with Exact Globe is a plus;
- Analytical, entrepreneurial, and capable of operating independently in an international setting;
- Willing to relocate to Havana, Cuba.
