Legal Counsel
Scope of Work:
- Being a team member of the BeNeLux legal team and play an active role in contract negotiations with customers, relevant third parties, including subcontractors and product vendors
- Consider legal requirements as well as the company''s corporate standards and processes
- Provide firsthand deal support throughout the complete contract lifecycle and be the first point of contact for contract-related questions for the assigned accounts
- Work closely with the account teams and support them in contract compliance and fulfillment in the post-contracting phase
- Support business teams in the pursuit of large public tenders especially regarding compliance with tender rules and helping with the internal approval process including developing and maintaining repositories of compliance certificates for public tenders
- Upon request provide contract interpretation workshops and other legal trainings
Must-Have:
- Fully qualified lawyer and admitted to the bar in the Netherlands.
- 5+ years PQE with a very good understanding of IT outsourcing contracts, extensive experience in Public sector contracts and tenders, European data protection laws and regulations and employment matters
- Experience with corporate compliance matters and balancing global standards and local requirements
- Result-driven individual, who provides practical legal advice
- Proven ability to lead and implement complex projects and collaborate within cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills and able to influence decisions effectively
- Experience and interest in working in an international, diverse and fast-paced environment within a globally operating organization
- Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel within Europe and from time to time internationally
