Weare currently looking for an experienced IT Solution Architect tosupport a major transformation program within a criticalinfrastructure player operating in both Belgium and Germany. You''llbe part of the Digital Division, actively contributing to themodernization of the group''s IT infrastructure and applicationlandscape. In this high-impact role, you''ll translate businesscapabilities into end-to-end technical solutions, aligned witharchitectural best practices and group strategy. You''ll collaborateclosely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and subject matterexperts, and be deeply involved in design, governance, anddelivery. Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzingfunctional and non-functional requirements, constraints, andbusiness needs - Translating capabilities into architecturalbuilding blocks using modern design patterns (e.g., microservices,event-driven) - Delivering architecture designs aligned withstandards, guidelines, and reference architectures - Acting as thekey bridge between the product, architecture, and delivery teams -Supporting implementation and ensuring alignment via architecturegovernance (e.g., Design Boards, ADR, ATAM) - Providing hands-onsupport in integration design, application architecture, andtooling - Embracing Agile ways of working and contributing tocontinuous improvement - You''ll work in a bilingual(English-German) context, with teams spread across Brussels andBerlin. Fluent English is required for documentation and meetingswith both internal and external stakeholders. French and/or Dutchare a plus. Profile / Requirements Here''s our wishlist for theideal candidate: Must-have skills: - At least 6 years of experienceas a Solution Architect in complex, enterprise IT environments -Strong grasp of DDD, microservices, event-driven architecture andother modern paradigms - Proficient in architecture frameworks suchas ArchiMate, TOGAF, ATAM, CBAM - Experience with architecturemodeling tools (Sparx EA is a strong asset) - Clear communicator,able to navigate cross-functional teams and align stakeholders -Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of end-to-endsolutions - Confident leading discussions and facilitatingcollaborative decision-making (whiteboarding comes naturally) -Agile mindset with experience in Agile/DevOpsenvironments
