Theres never been a more exciting time to join Deel the international payroll and compliance market leader.ResponsibilitiesEmployment law assistance and compliance. - Work closely with the customer success team to provide daily advice on employment laws and regulations in order to answer clients queries.Draft and review employment agreements, employee handbooks and any other document in order to be compliant with local employment laws.Provide counsel to local management and the Human Resources team on a broad range of employment issues including recruiting; hiring; employee relations; discipline and terminations; European working time compliance (including shift working, overtime), internal investigations; leaves of absence; discrimination and harassment issues; global mobility issues; contingent worker issues; employee GDPR and privacy issues; compensation, benefits, bonus and equity awards; employment litigation; negotiated exits and settlements.Contribute to developing and implementing processes for efficient and streamlined operations surrounding contract negotiation and processes.Help develop and maintain training materials, playbooks and guidelines.Desired skills and competencies2-5 years experience (in-house experience is not essential), with a strong background in cross border employment law matters.Specialist knowledge of employment law.You will be proactive, autonomous, resilient, adaptable, eager to continually learn and develop professionally.You will be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.You have good written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.You are fluent in English (other languages are a plus).Total RewardsOur workforce deserves fair and competitive pay that meets them where they are.
