Business Development Manager - Italy - EV Charging -Remote with Travel - 40K to 55K + Commission (Uncapped up to 50%)Location: Italy - (Milan/Turin) - Regular visits to either Londonor Barcelona. Languages Required: Bilingual in Italian &English Salary: 40K - 55k - (Up to 50% Uncapped Commission) Myclient is seeking an ambitious and driven Business DevelopmentManager to join their growing team. This is a remote position basedin Italy, with occasional travel to their Southern Europe hub inBarcelona. Their intelligent energy platform helps customers accessrenewable energy, understand consumer behaviour, and power smartcharging for electric vehicles (EVs). They are scaling rapidly andare looking for individuals passionate about clean technology andthe transition to a more sustainable future. Key ResponsibilitiesSales and Revenue Generation - Identify and close new opportunitieswith key players in the EV ecosystem, including installers,distributors, and automotive partners. - Manage a B2B salespipeline and convert leads into commercial partnerships. - Own thefull sales cycle from outreach and proposal through to negotiationand contract closure. - Achieve sales targets across hardware (EVchargers) and recurring revenue from software and services. -Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across productsand service offerings. Market Development and RelationshipManagement - Build and maintain strong relationships withelectrical installers, wholesalers, distributors, and otherstakeholders. - Represent the business at industry events, tradeshows, and conferences. - Monitor competitor activity and markettrends to help refine positioning and strategy. - Gather and sharecustomer feedback to support continuous product and serviceimprovement. Candidate Profile Essential Skills and Experience -Previous experience in a business development, sales, or commercialrole, ideally within EV, energy, or technology sectors. - Strongtrack record of managing a sales pipeline and achieving revenuetargets. - Excellent interpersonal and relationship-buildingabilities. - Ability to simplify and communicate technical conceptsclearly. - Native-level fluency in Italian and professional workingproficiency in English. - Comfortable working independently withina remote, distributed team. - Familiarity with CRM systems andcollaboration tools (experience with Slack, Jira, Odoo isadvantageous). Preferred Skills - Knowledge or passion for the EVsector, renewable energy, or clean technology markets. - Experiencebuilding partner networks with installers or distributors.
