Job description

With 35 members dedicated to the Infrastructure Investments, the investment team originates and analyzes financing opportunities, structures transactions and supports the invested companies in their development.

Eiffel has developed a very successful infrastructure debt franchise and has already secured more than 1G of investment capacities to be deployed on Energy transition assets, like onshore solar and wind technologies for example. Eiffel has also developed a large network of sponsors who develop, build and operate renewable assets and to be further consolidated and reinforced.

The purpose of this search is to strengthen the team dedicated to the infrastructure debt team by recruiting a Vice-President based in Paris. As a member of the investment team, the candidate will actively participate in the deployment of the Infrastructure debt strategy, financing tickets from 20M to 100M+ in projects or portfolio of projects.

Origination

• Identification of investment opportunities and selection of investment opportunities (screening, deal-flow monitoring).
• Development of a strong network of sponsors, intermediaries and peers mainly in Europe.
• Performing fundamental macro analysis and specific industry or market research.

Analysis and execution of transactions

• Analysis of opportunities from a strategic, financial and extra-financial point of view.
• Taking ownership of deal process and workstreams including internal and external Due Diligences.
• Negotiation and structuring of financing with sponsors and advisors.
• Definition of extra-financial roadmap.
• Drafting of investment notes and participation in Eiffel''s investment committees.

Portfolio monitoring

• Regular interaction with portfolio companies and support in their development (project development, financing, organic growth, acquisitions, key recruitments...).
• Monitoring of reporting commitments.
• Accompanying companies in extra-financial commitments.

Investor relations management

• Contribution to quarterly investor reports.
• Potential participation in meetings with investors and follow-up on commitments.

Profile

We are looking for a professional with strong potential, highly motivated to contribute to the strong growth of the strategy within a recognized management company, and committed to an ambitious development project.

• Bachelor/Master''s Degree from a top-ranking management/engineering school.
• Significant work experience (5-7 years) in Debt/infrastructures. Experience in the Energy sector would be a plus.
• Focus on the energy / ecological transition sectors would be a plus.
• Strong analytical skills. Detail oriented, rigorous, and investigative.
• Reliable, pro-active, self-driven, team spirit.
• Organized, ability to prioritize and work on different streams in parallel.
• A solid work ethic, curiosity and keen interest for the energy / ecological transition sectors.
• Ability to travel to meet sponsors and negotiate transactions
• Fluent in French and English. A third language would be positive.
