Every day, more than 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.For our Savigliano site in Italy, we are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Method Engineer.Mission:Defines and validates the detailed manufacturing process for a new product.Performs industrial documentation for the project, defines industrial master data, and sets the manufacturing method time.In serial phase, drives continuous improvement actions and industrializes product and process changes.Responsibilities:During specification and preliminary design phases:Guide product definition to improve manufacturability and achieve QCD targets.Participate in product design reviews.Estimate Method Time.During detailed design phase and before Serial Go:Participate in P-FMEA.Validate prototypes.Request tooling and write tooling specifications.Perform ERP routings, Work Instructions, Inspection Instructions, CNC programming, ensuring good EHS and ergonomic conditions.Sequence work stations tasks.Validate product design and industrialization through FAR and FAI.Calculate precise Method Time.After serial Go:Industrialize retrofit after engineering changes.Support Production to meet manufacturing QCD targets.Participate in continuous improvement workshops (e.g., SWIP).- Contribute to industrial REX on manufacturing processes.Educational Requirements:Technical education: electrical/mechanical/welding skills.English: read, written, spoken.Desired Knowledge / Experience:Manufacturing experience, preferably in the railway industry.Knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering, work instructions, line balancing.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).Knowledge of Quality, EHS standards, Ergonomics.Familiarity with IS tools, Process FMEA, QRQC, Time analysis (MTM, MEK, UAS).Behavioral Competencies:Conscientious, committed, and team-oriented.Decisive and self-motivated.Logical, organized, and communicative.You dont need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
