We are currently looking for a freelance Security Architect to join our client''s internal security team.If you''re passionate about application and cloud security and enjoy working in complex enterprise environments, this opportunity is for you Start: ASAPLocation: Flexible Remote Work / Candidates from Belgium or Remote from other EU Context You''ll be Embedded in the client''s application security team, a small, focused group responsible forSecurity testingArchitecture reviewsThreat modelingCloud security posture management Your role As a Security Architect within the client''s organization, you willConduct security architecture reviews to ensure solutions align with established security requirementsCollaborate with internal teams across the organization to provide security guidanceConfigure and manage SaaS security solutions and triage security alertsHelp design and execute the cloud security roadmap, with a particular focus on AzureParticipate in team meetings and support risk-based security decisions Key requirements Must-haves8+ years in security architecture and cloud security (strong mediors may be considered)Hands-on experience with Azure cloud security solutionsSolid understanding of ISO/IEC 27001 compliance frameworksProven ability to work independently in large, complex enterprise environmentsFluent in English (French/Dutch is a plus) Nice-to-havesSecurity certifications (CISSP, CCSP, Azure Security Engineer, etc.)Familiarity with Sonatype, Jfrog, Fedramp, or Pipa complianceExperience integrating or configuring security tools in CI/CD environments
