Position Summary
At Jet Aviation, we are not just offering a role we are offering an opportunity to elevate your career within a world-renowned leader in the aviation industry. For our team in Basel, we are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join our team on a fixed term contract for 18 months, working in shared service accounting departments that supports the financial success of multiple Jet Aviation entities.
Your role
- Financial Stewardship: Prepare, maintain, and reconcile key financial documents, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, capital expenditure reports, and VAT declarations.
- End-to-End Closings: Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings under both US GAAP and Swiss GAAP (OR) ensuring precision and compliance.
- Insightful Analysis: Offer financial insights that shape our future by supporting budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing performance variations.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with internal and external stakeholders, providing top-tier financial support and driving business decisions with financial acumen.
- Audit Excellence: Ensure audit readiness, supporting both internal and external audits with accuracy and professionalism.

Your profile: - Commercial accounting education.
- Several years of experience in a similar role within an international company.
- Results-driven attitude you execute with precision, accountability, and a customer-centric mindset.
- Fluent in English (oral and written), knowledge of German is a plus.
- Expertise in Swiss GAAP and US GAAP.
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP (R/3, S4).
