HyDep Srl ishighly specialized in the design, testing and certification ofwater electrolysis systems. The Company is set to grow, confirmingits position on the market as engineering services and small-scaleelectrolyser provider and developing large-scale innovativeelectrolysis technology for the Group. The Senior Instrumentation& Control Engineer will be responsible for designing andcomparing automation and instrumentation equipment, consideringtechnical and commercial aspects. Their role extends tocoordinating the commissioning of automation components, overseeingtechnical procurement and handling order processing for variousmaterials. Their role will also include developing detailed designdocumentation while ensuring alignment with other departments.Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform comparisons for automationand instrumentation equipment, considering both technical andcommercial aspects. - Negotiate with customers, suppliers, andmarket partners on technical and commercial matters. - Coordinatethe commissioning of automation components and systems, ensuringthe setup and functionality meet project standards. - Handletechnical procurement and order processing for measuring devices,valves, automation systems, and related materials such as cablesand assembly materials. Review manufacturer documentation up to thefinal inspection. - Conduct technical clarifications with suppliersand market partners for global customer orders. - Conduct thedesign and implementation of field instrumentation, processcontrol, safety systems, integrated control systems, packagecontrol systems, and fire & gas systems. - Ensure thatinterfaces with other disciplines are consistent and aligned. -Develop and produce both basic and detailed design documentationincluding database configurations, data sheets, specifications,control strategies, network architectures, cause and effectmatrices, detailed functional analysis, programming, and cablingplans. Experience: - At least 8 years of experience as anInstrumentation & Control engineer, preferably in the renewableenergy or chemical sector. - Practical experience in the planning,design, and procurement of sensors (field devices), actuators(valves, drives), and automation systems (process controltechnology) for chemical industry plants. - Completed training inelectrical engineering, mechatronics, automation engineering, orare a state-certified technician in the aforementioned areas. -Experience with EU directives (CE, ATEX) preferred and withhazardous area codes & standards - Basic knowledge of therenewable and low carbon hydrogen industry. Requirements: -Master''s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automationengineering, or are a state-certified technician in theaforementioned areas. - Softwares: Autocad, Office, SDPROJET, EPLAN- Flexibility to work from our Codogno''s office a couple of daysper week upon request.
