Eurofins NSC Italia is seeking a highly motivated Country Tax Manager to join its team in Milan North-East (Vimodrone Site, Metro Verde: Cascina Burrona).Job Overview:In countries where the Eurofins Group has a significant presence, a National Service Centre (NSC) pools support services to improve efficiency and ensure compliance. The increasing complexity of tax regulations makes managing tax affairs a key priority. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure timely tax compliance and reporting, while providing tax management and optimization advice at both local and international levels to support and enhance the business. The Tax Manager reports to the National Finance Director and indirectly to the Group Head of Taxes.Main Responsibilities:Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate local tax filings (corporate income taxes, VAT, withholding taxes, etc.) and maintain the tax unity situation.Reporting Duties: Manage mandatory reporting obligations such as Country-by-Country Reports, DAC-6, Pillar II-related returns, etc.Tax Accounting: Oversee local tax accruals, deferred tax positions, and report to Group, ensuring accurate ETR evolution.Tax Risk Management: Develop controls to mitigate tax risks, monitor legislation, and respond proactively.Advisory & Strategies: Provide tax advice, propose optimization ideas, and support corporate reorganizations, M&A, financing structures, and international tax treaty applications.Transfer Pricing: Maintain up-to-date transfer pricing documentation compliant with legislation and Group policies.Global Minimum Tax / US CAMT: Understand and apply Pillar II implications, including calculations for Global Minimum Tax and US CAMT.Tax Audits & Claims: Support during tax audits, information requests, and claims.Participation in Working Groups: Engage in international tax working groups to share expertise and stay updated.Qualifications:Master Degree in Law or Economics; Master in Tax Law is a plus.5-7 years of experience in a Big-4 or comparable firm, or in industry with a focus on corporate tax.Experience with transfer pricing, Global Minimum Tax, or US CAMT is a plus.Personal Skills: Attention to detail, reliability, high energy, structured, autonomous, confident, proactive, adaptable, good communicator, and team-oriented with development focus.Technical Skills: Strong analytical ability, comprehensive technical knowledge, strategic planning, stakeholder management, and the ability to balance detail with overview.Language Skills: Fluent in Italian and English; French is an asset.What We Offer: Join a global leader in life sciences testing, contribute to innovation, work in an international environment, enjoy hybrid work, meal vouchers, exclusive deals, and healthcare discounts.Ready to make a difference?
