Aboutthe Role - Based in the region of Veneto, Italy, the role willoversee around 150MW of Hydropower plants in addition to theirSolar PV plants (once constructed) across Italy. You will deliverand maintain comprehensive control room operations within a 24/7responsive setting, proficiently managing and operating all controlroom systems. Facilitate effective collaboration with PlantManagers to ensure the successful management of maintenancetickets, timely interventions, and optimal operation of all assets.This role is office-based. Responsibilities: - Continuously monitorthe real-time performance of energy plants using dedicateddashboards and assess deviations in performance metrics and KPIs. -Perpetually monitor the status, alerts, and errors generated byonsite components. - Working Closely with the Technical AssetManagement Team. - Perpetually monitor automatic alarms generatedby monitoring/SCADA and other systems. - Conduct remotetroubleshooting and determine necessary actions, including creatingtickets and assigning work orders to relevant stakeholders. -Coordinate with local onsite technicians from maintenance providers(escalating to Plant managers when necessary) to resolve incidents,providing supporting evidence and updating work orders/ticketsaccordingly. - Monitor Security Systems alarms and oversee CCTVsurveillance. - Implement action plans in response to intrusions. -Report any unusual activities or alarm activations to designatedindividuals. - Provide detailed reports for all incidents. -Conduct remote control and troubleshooting as needed.Qualifications: - We are looking for individuals with experience intechnical operations within Hydropower and/or Solar Photovoltaic(PV) renewable industries. - Proficiency in engaging in businessdiscussions and negotiations is essential. Required Skills: -Ideally you hold a degree in electrical engineering or similar. -Previous experience in monitoring and troubleshootingHydropower/Solar PV systems. - Familiarity with SCADA systems andremote monitoring tools. - Ability to work independently and makeresponsible decisions. - Strong analytical and problem-solvingskills. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. -Native Italian speaker essential and English language skills willbe advantageous. - Knowledge of security systems, includingCCTV.
