Our eight brands are each amajor force in its specific business WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Forour Iveco Defence Vehicles and Astra business units, we are lookingfor a Supplier Quality Engineer Manager who will be responsible formanaging and continuously improving supplier quality within thecompany''s supply chain. This key role will ensure that suppliersmeet the quality, safety and compliance requirements of the defencesector, working closely with internal teams to ensure that thecomponents and materials received meet the required standards. MainResponsibilities: - Develop, implement, and manage supplier qualitystrategies - Evaluate, select, and qualify new suppliers incollaboration with procurement and engineering teams. - Conductsupplier quality audits to verify compliance with ISO 9001, AQAP2110, AS9100, and other defence-specific standards. - Monitor andimprove supplier performance through KPIs and data analysis,implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed. -Collaborate with engineering teams to manage non-conformities ofpurchased materials, developing action plans to resolve qualityissues. - Support inspection and testing activities, ensuringtraceability and compliance of supplied materials. - Leadcontinuous improvement programs with suppliers using methodologiessuch as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. - Coordinate FirstArticle Inspection (FAI) activities according to AS9102. - Ensurecompliance with safety, ITAR/EAR requirements, andindustry-specific regulations. Required Qualifications: -Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering,or related field. - Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in SupplierQuality, preferably in Defence, Aerospace, or Automotive sectors. -Strong knowledge of quality standards and management systems suchas ISO 9001, AQAP 2110, AS9100, NADCAP. - Experience in conductingsecond-party audits and supplier certification. - Availability totravel (30% to 50% of working hours), both nationally andinternationally - Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing,and problem-solving tools (8D, Ishikawa, FMEA). Skills: - Knowledgeof manufacturing specifications and special processes (materials,weldments, heat treatments, machining, coatings, electronics,etc.). - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings,GD&T, and quality specifications. - Excellent analytical andproblem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonalskills for managing suppliers and internal functions. - Proficiencyin English (written and spoken).
