As a small business, we support the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its services (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps), along with other US federal agencies globally.Position: Regional Energy ManagerThe Regional Energy Manager will support the operational objectives of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems installations in Djibouti, Bahrain, Spain, Italy, Crete, Romania, and Poland. The primary location is Naples, Italy, with 70% travel to other installations. This is a one-year project contingent on contract award.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement energy management programs in compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and directives.Support facility maintenance, repair, and construction projects, including design review comments.Manage energy projects, identify savings opportunities, and oversee construction activities.Promote water and energy conservation initiatives, including renewable energy and microgrids.Assist with energy and water plans such as the Installation Energy Programs Summary (IEPS).Conduct facility audits and analyze energy and water consumption data.Develop and sustain an Energy Awareness program.Perform other related duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years experience as an Energy Manager in the Department of Defense or similar government facilities.Knowledge of energy resiliency, reliability, and efficiency principles.Experience with energy consumption monitoring, facility audits, and report development.Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with Navy energy platforms (IEPs, DUERs, NSGEMs) is a plus.Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including active construction sites.Why Join Planate?Joining Planate offers the opportunity to work with a global company recognized as a trusted partner in planning, design, engineering, and asset management.
