Our client is an important Italian company operating in the Wine sector, known for the quality of its products all over the world, which has entrusted us to search for theThe Public Relations Director is responsible for developing and executing the companys global PR strategy, with a strong focus on brand storytelling, wine education, and stakeholder engagement. This role ensures consistent messaging across all PR platforms, strengthens the brands reputation in key markets, and enhances visibility within the wine trade, press, and consumers.Responsibilities:Define and implement a comprehensive PR strategy aligned with the brands identity, heritage, and business goalsManage corporate, product, and institutional PR communication (press, events)Serve as the main point of contact for media press relations, wine critics, and influencers at both national and international levelsOversee the creation of press releases, speeches, newsletters, and content for corporate and promotional useAnalyze press coverage and propose improvementsCoordinate PR campaigns and media PR events, including press tours, tastings, and wine fairsDevelop strong narratives for PR activities around the winerys terroir, sustainability practices, and oenological excellenceCollaborate with marketing, digital, sales, and production teams to ensure integrated messagingSupervise the PR team and external agenciesManage the PR budget and measure the effectiveness of activities through KPIsEnsure press coverage is generated in the most effective mannerSupport the company spokesperson, especially the president of the boardEducation:Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related fieldsA Masters Degree or Certification in Wine & Spirits WSET, sommelier diploma is a strong assetExperience:Proven track record in managing media relations, brand PR, and storytelling projectsExperience working in international markets and understanding cultural nuances in communicationAdditional skills include:Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Italian; additional languages are a plusConfidence in public speaking and representing the brand externallyAbility to manage teams, budgets, and multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong knowledge of wine culture, terminology, production processes, and current market trends (asset, but not mandatory)Strategic thinking with a creative mindsetPassion for wine and storytellingHigh attention to detail and brand consistencyStrong interpersonal and networking skillsAdaptability and resilience in dynamic environmentsCommitment to excellence and authenticity#J-18808-Ljbffr
