Our client is a fast-growing AI-powered SaaS company shaking up their industry across Europe and the US. Theyre on the hunt for a Principal Backend Engineer to take charge of their integration platform leading strategy, architecture, and delivery of key partner connections.
Youll be the go-to for designing and building scalable, fault-tolerant integrations that unlock automation and seamless data flows. A high-impact role with plenty of tech influence and leadership opportunity.
What Youll Do:
Own and drive integration architecture and strategy.
Lead engineering teams to build scalable APIs and data pipelines.
Collaborate closely with product, leadership, and external partners.
Champion automation, observability, and reliability best practices.
Mentor engineers and push innovation forward.
What Youll Need:
7+ years backend engineering experience, specialising in integrations.
Expert in scalable APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and infrastructure as code.
Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills.
Bonus if you know recruitment tech or SaaS landscapes.
