Your Impact Starts Here
As a Senior Biostatistician, youll take the lead on biostatistics and programming activities for studies of moderate complexity from planning and monitoring to execution and delivery. Your work will be critical to ensuring clinical trials are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
What Youll Be Doing
Youll drive key statistical tasks including:
- Contributing to protocol development: study design, sample size calculations, and patient randomization
- Designing case report forms with statistical input
- Creating statistical analysis plans and defining derived data
- Designing and reviewing tables, listings, and figures for clinical study reports
- Performing data analysis and interpreting results
- Writing the statistical methods sections of integrated reports
- Ensuring consistency across a program of studies
Bonus: Experience in Oncology is a plus but not essential.
What Were Looking For
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field
- 5+ years experience in a biostatistics role within a CRO or pharmaceutical environment
- Strong grasp of applied parametric/nonparametric statistics and solid SAS programming skills
- In-depth knowledge of study designs and clinical trial methodology
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to translate complex statistical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
