Your futur missions :
As Global Category Manager, you :
-Define with all stakeholders (Regional Buyers, Industrial, Quality, Marketing, ...) the strategy for the categories in your scope, taking into account internal and external partners (Lactalis Country, Market Environment, Suppliers...).
-Design roadmaps for execution.
-You are responsible for implementing the strategy with your local counterparts (local buyers and local R&D) and monitor progress.
- Manage strategic partnerships with global suppliers
-Lead strategic projects with local and global teams.
-Identify new market opportunities.
-Manage global tenders.
-Negotiate terms of sale and contracts with global suppliers.
-Monitor your category using key performance indicators.
-Develop market knowledge and expertise, understand key market drivers.
This position is available on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid position, involving different Lactalis HQs and requiring frequent travel (10 to 30%).

Your strengths
- At least 4 to 5 years'' experience in procurement.
Fluency in English is essential
- Positive, enthusiastic, energetic, excellent communicator with strategic vision.
- At ease in a multicultural environment, ideally with international experience.
- Demonstrate leadership, being able to align strategy and stakeholders with identified and new business opportunities.
- Problem-solving oriented with strong analytical skills.
