Our client, a major player in Belgiums banking industry, is seeking a UX Copywriter to help shape how people experience digital banking: clearly, intuitively, and humanely. In this role, you wont just write copy. Youll write with purpose, empathy, and precision, playing a vital role in making financial services more accessible, inclusive, and transparent for millions.
This isnt about slogans. Its about language that reduces friction, builds trust, and lets people get on with what matters most to them.
What you will be doing:
- Write and refine UI copy (buttons, labels, error messages, tooltips, instructions) so users always know what to do next.
- Work hand-in-hand with designers, product experts, and developers to shape intuitive user journeys from start to finish.
- Adapt copy based on real user feedback, making sure its always evolving to meet human needs.
- Ensure that every word is accessible and inclusive, because clarity should never exclude.
- Rework and elevate French-language copy originally drafted in Dutch.
- Keep our content database up to date and easy to navigate.
- Collaborate with fellow UX Writers to maintain and evolve tone-of-voice guidelines and writing standards.
What you bring:
- Youre passionate about clarity and believe every word on a screen should earn its place.
- Youve got solid experience as a UX Writer (or in a closely related role) and a strong portfolio to prove it.
- You understand mobile-first design and UX fundamentals and write with those in mind.
- You see the big picture of user journeys and love collaborating with others to connect the dots.
- Youve worked closely with design teams and understand the rhythms of the product lifecycle.
- Your French writing is flawless, and you''re confident in Dutch (B2/C1) and English (B1/B2).
- Youre resilient, open to feedback, and focused on the value your words bring to real people.
