The Head of Womens Soccer will own and lead the strategy of Krause Group womens soccer program, advancing its growth, visibility, sustainability and reputation. This role focuses on delivering transformative change, fostering a culture of excellence, achieving financial sustainability, and positioning Krause Group Soccer as a leader in womens soccer globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Vision:
Lead the long-term strategy for womens soccer across the group, aligning with the overall sporting and commercial vision. Ensure the womens game is positioned as a core pillar of the organizations identity and future. - Soccer Strategy & Operations Leadership:
Lead the soccer strategy and operational execution across the groups womens clubs. Ensure alignment with the overarching sporting philosophy, drive excellence in sporting structures, and oversee the effective integration of coaching, performance, and talent pathways. Build and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders in NWSL, Serie A, Italian federations, USL, and European soccer organizations collaborating with KG. - Brand & Visibility:
Elevate the profile of the womens teams and athletes through bold brand positioning, media partnerships, storytelling, and community engagement. Champion equality of visibility, voice, and experience. Deliver CSR initiatives that amplify Krause Group Soccers influence within the local communities and across the globe. - Commercial Growth & Revenue Development:
Design and deliver a commercial plan - tailored to the womens game. Build new revenue streams through sponsorship, ticketing, merchandising, media rights, and fan experiences specific to womens soccer. - Club Operations & Performance Infrastructure:
Oversee the operational performance of womens teams, ensuring world-class support structures, staffing, and facilities. Work closely with soccer and performance leaders to ensure alignment in philosophy and standards. Foster a professional structure and culture to position Parma among Italys top five womens soccer clubs. - Acquisition & Expansion:
Support the identification of strategic opportunities to acquire or partner with womens soccer clubs globally. Assess alignment, lead integration planning, and ensure successful onboarding into the group ecosystem. - Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy:
Be an influential voice in the womens soccer landscape. Develop strong relationships with federations, leagues, sponsors, media, and the wider soccer community to advocate for systemic growth, - Cross-Group Collaboration:
Ensure the womens soccer strategy is integrated across all departmentsperformance, brand, finance, and operations. Promote shared learning, group-wide activation, and resource alignment to maximize collective impact. - Leadership & Culture:
Inspire and lead a team committed to the growth of the womens game. Promote a culture of ambition, excellence, and purpose across all levels of the womens soccer operation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sports management, 5+ years in a leadership role preferred.
- Strong understanding of the womens soccer landscape globally.
- Comprehensive understanding of soccer operations, including youth development and elite performance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships with federations and ownership groups.
- Passion for womens empowerment, youth development, and sports equity.
- Excellent communication, fundraising, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and strategic planning.
- Fluency in Italian preferred and English required.
- Relevant experience in the top leagues for women''s soccer in the world, with preferred experience in USA, Italy, England, France and Spain.
