We foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where employees are encouraged to bring their authentic selves to work, driving creativity and success.Role Overview:The New Business Development Specialist will support Trinseos sustainability initiatives and business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and promoting sustainable practices internally and externally.ResponsibilitiesStrategy:Assist the Global Sustainability Business Development Leader in defining the vision and strategy for sustainable materials based on market needs, regulatory changes, and company capabilities.Develop strategic external relationships with focus customers, OEMs, brand owners, industry groups, authorities, and regulators.Collaborate with key commercial sustainability functions such as procurement, reporting, application development, technical sales, and sales.Leadership:Influence the implementation of recycling and sustainability strategies across markets and regions.Lead initiatives and projects within operational regions.Support strategic decision-making related to operational aspects like prioritization, pricing, volumes, and partnerships.Execution:Manage financial and progress metrics for sustainable business development.Identify market trends and needs related to sustainability, including green product pricing and upstream industry capabilities.Influence external decisions on product and service adoption, including material selection, waste management policies, and regulatory frameworks.Communicate guidance, best practices, and coaching to commercial teams.QualificationsMaster''s degree in Economics, Sustainability Business, Engineering, or related field.3-5 years of relevant commercial or business experience.Equity and Inclusion: We value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where all backgrounds are welcomed and respected.#J-18808-Ljbffr
