iVascular is a fast growing company founded in 2010 in Barcelona (Spain) with the aim of developing medical devices and therapies for the treatment of disorders of the vascular system and to become a reference in the vascular field by enhancing the value of technology and innovation.The team that started iVascular has more than 30 years of experience in the field of vascular devices, being responsible for obtaining one of the first CE marks for a drug-eluting stent more than 20 years ago.We are currently looking for an RD Project Leader for our plant located in Sant Vicen dels Horts (Barcelona).ResponsibilitiesPrepare the technical planning for assigned projects, applying the methodology implemented in the company.In collaboration with the department head, prepare project budgets and define the technical and human resources to achieve the technical and economic objectives.Ensure the feasibility and technical quality of the solutions proposed.Coordinate and implement the production process for the products developed.Research and develop improvements in the technical characteristics, quality, and costs of products.Define purchasing specifications and approve suppliers from the initial stage until the product is transferred to the factory, sending guidelines for subsequent procurement.Requirements and personal skillsEducation: Industrial Engineering, especially in the mechanical, electromechanical, materials, biomedical fields or a similar one.Languages: high level of English and Spanish.Experience (years/area): Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.Specific Knowledge: Previous experience working in an RD department. Previous experience working with CAD systems (especially Solidworks and Rhinoceros) and Ansys.Travels: occasionally (fairs and congresses).Personal skills: High capacity for multidisciplinary work, analytical capacity, integrity, cooperative spirit, communication skills.
