Job Overview: Reporting functionally to the SCM, the Buyer is responsible for supporting sourcing, negotiation, contract drafting and revision, procurement activities and supplier management for the project. Responsibilities Manage all purchasing activities related to the assigned categories. Responsible for preparing Request for Proposals in line with policies and procedures. Conduct the commercial evaluation of proposals Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, milestone payments, and commercial terms conditions of Agreements in line with policies procedures Make award recommendations based on best option for the Project, Issue corresponding Purchase Orders. Be familiar and current in SCM Best Practices Ensure that contractual requirements are met by Vendor and required documents such as reports, insurance certificates, etc. as applicable are received in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures and conduct periodic self-audits. Manage changes to the Agreement and Purchase Orders through proper Change Order process. Facilitate the invoice and payment process of the Agreements/POs. Ensure all documents are duly filed in the appropriate systems. Attend internal and external meetings as required. Provide weekly and monthly progress reports, as required. Manage commercial close-out of Agreements Conduct lessons learned for the supplier. Negotiating the best offer for the Project. Managing change orders through the lifecycle of the Project. Reporting issues and concerns to the SCM. Qualifications 10+ years procurement experience in an Oil and Gas EPC Company
