We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Laboratory Specialist. The role is a permanent position based in Bern Canton.Your Role: Plan, implement & document technical / physical measurement tasks. Carry out material & assembly testing at the development process stage. Procure, qualify & ensure the readiness of test equipment. Develop & validate new test methods. Prepare test regulations & work descriptions. Independently consider measurement uncertainties. Implement new testing & measurement standards.Your Skills & Profile: At least 3 years of relevant professional experience as a Laboratory Specialist or similar. Some Mechanical knowledge, ideally including some associated professional experience in a Laboratory environment. Good technical skills & an affinity for IT & Software. Any experience within highly regulated environments (medical technology, pharmaceuticals, etc.) is considered a plus.Your Profile: Completed training as a Technician / Physics Laboratory Assistant (or equivalent technical training). Very good communication skills & both service & quality-oriented.
