For more information, visit: NX engineering district | NextChemThe recruitment process is managed by Key2People, a partner of NEXTCHEM.Position: Pressure Vessels & Heat Exchangers EngineerMissionManage activities related to the discipline within a project, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, budget, and schedule, while optimizing costs.Oversee activities related to the supply of static equipment from request for quotation to final delivery, coordinating with the Post Order and Inspection departments.Key Activities and ResponsibilitiesDuring project execution, duties include:Develop and discuss project execution strategies with the Project Team and Engineering Head, ensuring adherence throughout the project lifecycle.Prepare Material Requisitions for static equipment, including mechanical calculations and 2D drawings, meeting client and company requirements.Conduct technical evaluations of vendors, collaborate with Procurement on vendor selection.Review and update standards, procedures, and guidelines for static equipment discipline.Interact with clients and vendors on technical issues affecting project timelines and costs.Assist inspection and construction departments as needed.Provide feedback to improve department effectiveness and efficiency.Conduct technical training and share experience with colleagues across the group.Stay updated on technical advancements in the discipline.CompetenciesExperience with static equipment for Petrochemical or Oleochemical applications (e.g., Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Reactors, Storage Tanks).Ability to review specifications, prepare design and supply documentation, and evaluate bids.Proficiency in using 2D CAD software, design tools, and technical bid evaluation.Review vendor drawings and calculations, coordinate with other disciplines.Knowledge of industry codes and standards (API, ASME, ANSI, PED, TEMA, EN).Ability to produce accurate project deliverables and manage schedules and budgets.Skills & RequirementsDegree in Mechanical Engineering.At least 2 years of relevant experience.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Willing to travel for work.Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
