The Product Manager owns and manages the research, development, launch and business success of assigned products, product components, or product features in the Wall Street English product portfolio.The focus of this role is to understand the needs of our consumers, research the market and competition, and use data analysis to define the strategy and roadmap. The Product Manager acts as product owner on the agile development team, and works with UX, business, marketing and technology teams to deliver the roadmap and achieve success.Essential duties and responsibilities:Research and AnalysisDevelop a deep understanding of the adult learner marketArticulate market requirements and opportunitiesDetermine problem hypotheses to test with end consumerCoordinate facilitate testing of problem hypotheses with end consumer to [in]validate assumptionsAnalyze data identify opportunities for product innovation and product enhancementsProduct Planning and ManagementDefine the short long-term strategy of the product and/or product component, and create product or product component roadmap and backlog of features functionsContinuously refine the product roadmap and backlog in response to validated learning from the consumer and early adopter testingDetermine product specifications and articulate in personas and user storiesRepresent the consumer (learners, employees and partners) in product development teamsUse market feedback to inform product refinements and ongoing developmentManaging the backlog With input from key stakeholders and the Head of Product, the Product Manager has the primary responsibility to prioritize, build, prune, and maintain the backlog, including:User storiesDefectsRefactoring, optimizing and management of the technical debtInput into the assessment of pre-backlog initiativesDriving the iterations Including, but not limited to:Participate, contribute and add value to the sprint planning meetingParticipate, contribute and add value in Triage meetingsParticipate, contribute and add value to Release planning meetingsElaborating stories on a just-in-time basis with the teamEnsuring that Acceptance Criteria are defined for each storyAccepting stories into the backlogAccepting the sprintMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalentPrevious product management or related experienceQuantitative and business analysis skillsExperience working with enterprise systems and platforms for online learning and assessmentExperience working in dynamic Agile or Scaled Agile environmentsWork Arrangement:Hybrid (2 days in office/3 days work from home).
