We are hiring for one of our clients a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions.
As a DevOps Engineer, you are responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations by implementing automation, CI/CD practice, and modern infrastructure provisioning. You ensure reliable, scalable, and secure delivery pipelines and infrastructure, enabling fast and safe.
This is what you''re going to do
- Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure (Primarily Azure)
- Optimize cloud workloads for cost, performance and scalability
- Design, implement, optimize and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools Azure DevOps, Github Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Ability to use Pipeline Decorators to enforce compliance with organization policies
- Ability to write unit and integration tests for scripts and modules using Pester
- Ability to use Linters to enforce coding standards and catch errors in pipelines
- Integrate code scanning and format validation steps in CI/CD pipelines to block non-compliant IaC from being deployed
- Create and maintain build/release definitions and deployment strategies
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools (e.g. Bicep, Terraform, ansible, primarily Bicep)
- Configuration Deployment: Deploy configurations within Azure seamlessly.
- Write scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate operational tasks, provisioning, and configuration.
- Create automation scripts for VM life cycle, resource group orchestration, identity setup, and policy enforcement
- Maintain repeatable environments for Development, test, acceptance and production
- Define and enforce best practices regarding Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, etc.
- Develop monitoring and alerting logic using Powershell, Log Analytics (KQL), and integrations with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Prometheus
- Create automated remediation scripts for common alerts and incidents
- Support workload/project teams on technical issues/solutions
- Document infrastructure changes and operational procedures
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Good understanding Azure Landing Zones, Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure Well Architected Framework

Qualifications:
- Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Dutch (C1/C2 level).
- Certifications: Relevant Microsoft Certifications are required.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel between locations for project-related activities.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in shifts as needed and/or on-call support in offline hours
