ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY We arelooking to hire a Junior Structural Engineer to join the teamsupervising and assisting with railway infrastructure projectsacross Europe. ABOUT YOU Feel free to apply ifyou have the following: - Educational background: Civil Engineer,Public Works Technical Engineer (ITOP), Civil Engineer or similardegree with specialization in structures. - Experience: Minimum 2years of experience in design, construction or supervision ofstructures on site, preferably in railway infrastructure projects.Previous experience in high speed railway infrastructure will be aplus. - Languages: Fluency in English, both spoken and written.Knowledge of other languages will be an asset. - Technical Skills:Knowledge of structural construction procedures, on-site resolutionof structural conflicts, knowledge of structural design andanalysis, performance with design and construction regulationsbased on Eurocodes, coordination and planning. RESPONSIBILITIES -Integration in the supervision and technical assistance team toensure the faithful compliance of the design project structuresduring construction. - Collaborate with the structural design teamto solve construction problems that require their intervention. -Review shops drawings and technical specifications of materialsprovided by the contractor. - Maintain fluid communication with thedifferent project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliersand local authorities. - Make periodic reports on the progress ofthe work and communicate any deviation from the initial planning.ABOUT US IDOM is a Professional Association focused on executingEngineering, Architecture, and Consulting projects that contributeto a more sustainable world.
