Please apply to be considered for the following vacancies: Day Activities Facilitator Temporary Full Time 78 hours per fortnight Day Activities Facilitator Temporary Part Time 72 hours per fortnight Day Activities Facilitator Temporary Part Time 70 hours per fortnight The role of a Day Activities Facilitator Day Activities Facilitators work as members of a team to develop schemes of work and learning programmes in line with national guidelines. They are responsible for planning, preparing and delivering these programmes to a range of classes, ensuring their suitability for the individual needs and abilities of people supported by the services. They encourage, monitor and record the progress of individuals, and devise and adapt resources to suit their students. Community Facilitators/Instructors must also keep up to date with developments in their subject areas, new resources and methods. The prime consideration is always the welfare and wellbeing of the people supported by the services. This position requires a high degree of professionalism and competence in conflict resolution as well as the ability to understand and empower people with sometimes quite divergent points of view.
