CommScope is seeking a talented individual to provide technical direction and support for our sales teams, business partners, consultants, and end-users. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical direction for pre- and post-sales support, developing customer solutions and serving as a liaison with customers.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to offer application engineering support, including traveling to customer facilities when needed.
- Support the rollout of new products with presentations focused on technical differentiation and value proposition.
- Create and deliver solutions presentations to enhance sales of CommScopes product lines.
- Provide engineering support to regional/global customers and sales personnel, answering technical questions and acting as a liaison between customers and manufacturing/engineering.
- Offer feedback to product engineering on market trends and design features to improve product marketability.
- Review bid specifications to position CommScopes product portfolio and alert account managers and product management of any issues.
- Perform on-site warranty certification inspections and provide technical support to resolve warranty claims.
- Contribute to product literature maintenance and support sales and marketing with media activities.
- Attend meetings and report on industry standards activity.
Requirements:
- Bachelors/Masters Degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN systems, wireless, IoT, and building applications.
- Industry technical certification preferred (BICSI RCDD, SYSTIMAX, NETCONNECT, FTTH).
- Proficiency in MS Office, Windows Unix OS, Visio, or CAD Drawing.
