ABOUT THE JOB (French version downbelow) We are looking for a proactive and technically skilledProduct Developer to join our Store Design team. In this role, youwill be responsible for developing and optimizing constructionsystems, materials, and production methods specific to our Retailenvironments. You will ensure our design concepts are translatedinto scalable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions thatreflect our brands standards of excellence. WHAT YOU WILL DO -Product Development: Translate retail design concepts into feasibleand cost-effective construction systems and materialspecifications. - Technical Innovation: Explore and implement newmaterials, manufacturing methods, and sustainable alternativestailored to luxury retail environments. - Prototyping and Testing:Lead the development and testing of prototypes, ensuring alignmentwith design intent, performance standards, and durability. -Documentation: Develop comprehensive technical documentation,including product specifications, installation guidelines, andmaterial standards. - Supplier Collaboration: Work closely withsuppliers and manufacturers to refine products, manage lead times,and ensure production quality in collaboration with ProjectManagers in charge of store projects. - Cost Analysis: Break downcosts by component, identify optimization opportunities, andcontribute to value engineering efforts. - Sustainability: Identifyand promote the use of sustainable materials and processes in linewith company goals. - Quality Control: Define technical standardsand conduct reviews to ensure consistency across regions andprojects. WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR IN OUR NEXT TEAM MEMBER - Degreein Product Design, Industrial Design, Engineering, or a relatedfield. - Proven experience in product development for retail,architecture, or furniture design. - Strong technical understandingof materials, joinery, finishes, and construction methods. - Fullproficiency with CAD and 3D modeling tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD,Sketchup). - Experience with production techniques and working withmanufacturers. - Excellent problem-solving and project coordinationskills. - A strong eye for detail and a passion for innovation andcraftsmanship. - Experience in cost analysis and value engineeringis a plus. - Understanding of sustainability principles andmaterial certifications is a bonus. WORKING CONDITIONS - Full-timejob based at Byredos Head Quarters in Paris. - This positionrequires the ability to travel to sites and vendor locations. -Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, ifneeded to meet project deadlines.
