What does your day look like as an Electrical Designer?
- You are responsible for designing and detailing electrical schematics.
- For this, you use Eplan as your drawing software.
- You create schematics, detail plans, assemblies and specifications.
- Based on the specifications and existing technical data, you take care of the basic calculations.
- You archive all schematics in the document management system, add articles and maintain the article database.
- In consultation with the engineers, you select the hardware and other electrotechnical components.
- You possibly follow up on projects and participate in meetings concerning the installation of the technical infrastructure.
- You check whether the electrical installations on site correspond to the diagrams drawn.
- In case of imperfections, you make the necessary measurements and adjust where necessary.
For the Electrical Designer position at our client, we are looking for a passionate professional who already has initial experience in this field.
Specifically:
- You have a technical background through experience or education.
- You can read and understand electrical plans fluently.
- You have a thorough knowledge of electrical engineering materials (component knowledge, product knowledge such as Rital, Siemens, Festo, etc., electrical networks, etc.).
- Experience in machine or panel building is considered a plus.
- You have previous experience with Eplan and are familiar with this package.
- You work accurately, independently and result-oriented.
