The role involves being the onsite reference point for the financial management of active and passive contracts, ensuring all contractual aspects are understood and applied by the companies on site. The QS will be responsible for:Verifying that the contractual obligations of subcontractors on site are fulfilledManaging any claims from subcontractors in accordance with the signed contractsHandling variations requested by subcontractors for approval by the Site Manager and Project ManagerManaging, with support from the SM, CM, and CoM, the variations issued to the final clientChecking the Progress of Work (SAL) of the subcontractors, making it available for signing by the Site Manager and the Sites Cost ControllerPreparing contributions for the Weekly/Monthly Progress ReportsPossessing a technical or commercial high school diplomaFluent knowledge of Italian and English, both written and spokenGood understanding of technical drawingsExcellent command of contractual documentationProficiency in MS Office suiteAt least 5 years of experience as a QS in industrial construction sites, preferably with a Main EPC ContractorAbility to relate with an international teamEmpathy in managing and resolving problems, with a constructive attitude and leadership skillsConditions:Start: ASAPDuration: 6 months, renewableJob Advertisement: Quantity Surveyor Province of Salerno, Italy#J-18808-Ljbffr
