Let''s start the conversation.The Life Sciences Account Executive is responsible for generating new sales and revenue within the assigned vertical. This role involves selling solutions through prospecting, networking, and executing marketing initiatives and account plans to expand Iron Mountain''s presence, resulting in revenue growth and quota achievement.ResponsibilitiesAssess prospective and current customer needs, determining suitable Iron Mountain products and solutions. Develop and implement strategies and business plans by understanding the client''s business model, decision-making channels, and value proposition. Highlight IRMs strengths, competitive pricing, customer satisfaction, and advantages within each account.Build customer relationships through strategic conversations to understand organizational objectives. Influence a wide range of stakeholders and act as an industry expert. Collaborate with decision-makers to structure business strategies related to service levels, training, and schedules. Maintain regular communication to ensure customer satisfaction and keep them informed of industry trends.Continuously prospect to develop new clients, expand existing relationships, and manage a pipeline to meet or exceed quotas. Support activities include responding to RFPs, tracking in SFDC, forecasting, and researching competitors and IRM products.Engage in industry associations, attend tradeshows, review whitepapers, and stay current with market trends. Maintain deep knowledge of customer business trends and potential opportunities.Lead negotiations to finalize sales and revenue growth, ensuring timely and profitable outcomes. Identify and close new opportunities, secure resources, and assist in scoping and pricing for projects within accounts.Collaborate with customers on new opportunities, manage negotiations, and work with internal departments. Understand customer requirements, negotiate pricing and SLAs, and contribute to proposals and contract processes.Key Skills, Requirements, and Competencies:4+ years of sales experience in the Enterprise Life Sciences verticalStrong background in strategic account management, solution selling, and understanding of the Life Science industryProven ability to translate customer needs into solutions with compelling value propositions and negotiation skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, planning, analytical skills, and business acumenAbility to influence, negotiate, and develop relationships at all organizational levels, including C-levelStrong Power Messaging and Challenger Selling skillsExperience presenting to senior managementAbility to create demand by addressing vertical market challenges and identifying key buying influencesEffective questioning, negotiation, and relationship management skillsProficiency in oral and written communicationUp to 40% travel required#LI-RemoteReasonably expected salary range: $104,800 - $139,700 + commissions.#J-18808-Ljbffr
